Netscape 7.0--Tutorial (Enable SSL within your browser)
  1. Double-click on Netscape 7.0 icon to open Netscape browser

  2. At the top of the Netscape browser, click on the Edit menu

  3. When you click Edit another menu will drop down. From this new menu click Preferences.

  4. Once Preferences is clicked a new window will appear on screen. Down the left hand side of this window categories are listed. Click on the arrow next to the Privacy & Security category.

  5. Under the Privacy & Security category click SSL.

  6. Under SSL Protocol versions click Enable SSL version 2, Enable SSL version 3, Enable TLS.

  7. Click OK at the bottom of the Preferences window. This will close the Preferences window. Secure Socket Layers have now been enabled in your browser.
