It's never too early (or too late) to start
a Christmas Club account. You
may feel like you don’t have a penny to spare, but it only
takes $5 to start your account! That’s less than
one fast-food lunch.
Once your account is open, you can deposit
any amount, any time. You
can make one-time deposits, or set up an automatic transfer from
your SCCU checking account. One-time deposits are perfect
for those who receive commission checks or other variable pay.
Put in another $5 on your next payday, or the
next time you receive a commission check. Once you get in the
habit, you’ll
find ways to increase your amount.
Your Christmas Club savings are automatically
transferred to your Share Savings account after October 31st
- just in time for holiday shopping. Your account renews
annually on November 1st to begin saving for next year.

Log
on to Online
Banking, select the “Additional Services” tab,
and click on the “Open New Account” link
in the “New Accounts and Loans” section. Transfer
$5 from your savings or checking account, and you’re done. If
you prefer, you may call Express Services or ask at the teller
line at any branch.
