Effective with the February 2008 statement cycle, SCCU is streamlining statement processing.
This change will reduce the number of printed statements mailed each month, resulting in a significant cost savings which ensures that, despite rising postage and processing costs, SCCU will be able to continue to provide access to a high level of free services, and the strong loan and deposit pricing that our members deserve.
Please note that members who have opted-out of paper statements will not experience any changes.
Overview: Currently, we are printing and mailing a monthly statement for most members, whether or not there is activity on the account. Beginning with the February statement, only accounts with the necessary activity to warrant a monthly statement will receive one in the mail.
Printed statements will be mailed quarterly to all members with a valid mailing address on record, even if there has been no activity on the account. All members will be mailed statements the months of March, June, September, and December. Please note that the months mentioned refer to the statement month; the statement mailing will be delivered the month following. For example, March statements arrive in member households in April.
Those members who have opted-out of paper statements will not receive a mailing in any month.
Online statements will be produced for all members every month, regardless of account activity. The online statement looks the same as the printed statement, and can be printed on any standard inkjet or laser printer.
