Netscape 4.7--Tutorial (set your browser to allow JavaScript)
  1. Double-click on Netscape 4.7 icon to open Netscape browser

  2. At the top of the Netscape browser, click on the Edit menu

  3. When you click Edit another menu will drop down. From this new menu click Preferences.

  4. Once Preferences is clicked a new window will appear on screen. Down the left hand side of this window categories are listed. Click on the Advanced category.

  5. Once on the Advanced category, check the boxes next to Enable Java, Enable JavaScript, and Enable style sheets.

  6. Click OK at the bottom of the Preferences window. This will close the Preferences window. JavaScript has now been enabled within your browser.
