I had trouble with my Mortgage Co. not applying my payments on time or not at all. They kept sending the checks back to the SCCU for insuficient funds, although there was plenty of money in my account to pay my mortgage, and the payment was paid through billpay. I had been dealing with the Mortgage Co. for 2 months and 20 phone calls and getting no where. I finally took all my info down to SCCU branch and had them look at it. They called the Mortgage Co. (it took almost an hour)and really had to get on their case and finally found out that it was a simple digit that the Mortgage Co. had wrong that was the whole problem. If it wasn't for Maggie at SCCU I would have never gotten it taken care of because the Mortgage Co. wouldn't even give me a chance to explain, they just woud transfer me to another dept. Thank You Maggie!!!!

I love the on line bill payment system the best. It makes paying my bills exceptionally easy. I'm not a big computer guy so I was afraid it would be difficult for me to set up and use. It was very fast and easy to set up. I also like the money market checking interest rates. Thank you.

I have had an account with Space Coast for 18 or 19 years and have always been happy with them until lately when I got married and ask for new credit & debit cards which I didn't receive so I called again and this time they said they were sorry but would make sure I got them. Well, I didn't and I had to call today and they said they had never been ordered and that I should now receive them in & to 10 business days. I sure hope I get them this time as my debit card is in my old name and my license and other credit cards are in my new name and that doesn't go over very good in the stores.

I recently deposited a certified check of $55,000 from a bank to my money market account to be used for a cd. SSCU placed a 7 day hold on a certified check and would not budge on this, even tho it was staying with SCCU. Not very good for customer relations.

More competative with other bankers. I have pulled most of my $ into a BOA account due to the fact they gaev better rates on my mortgate. I have always enjoyed the people, just not over impressed with the service when it comes to getting mortgage info. That really let me down. I will keep my account open for small amounts though.
