Safe Deposit Boxes are a great way to store important documents and other valuables. The contents of the box are stored in a secure box that only you have access to.
Frequently Asked Questions about Safe Deposit Boxes
Among other items, some things you may want to store in your box include: birth certificates, passports, insurance policies, jewelry, military records, collections, photographs, important keys, social security cards, wills, trusts, income tax returns, marriage certificates, and home inventory list/video.
The fee for the box is assessed annually, and varies depending on the size of the box and your Member Rewards Level.

- Conduct a home inventory for items you would like to store in your box
- Make copies of all important papers (store originals in your box and keep copies at home for reference)
- Place original paperwork in a freezer safe zip top bag to avoid damage
- Contact your homeowner's insurance provider: items in Safe Deposit Boxes are not covered under NCUA insurance. Make sure your valuables are covered under your owners/renters policy
