I have had a satisfactory level of service since I first joined SCCU about 15 years ago. You seem to avoid the predatory, cold blooded attitude I sense at banks and credit card companies especially. They make no effort to hide their intent to soak you for every nickel in fees and rates.

Continue reviewing your Security practices, so that it does not pose any embarassment to your Cuustomers, especially as it may apply to the use of the Credit Card within the confines of the United States. Whenever I choose to travel outside of the USA the Security measures should be applied, and this is why we've chosen to become members of your Credit Union, and no longer conduct any business with the regular Banks. We always here that we're good Customers, but there has been times when we have had to wonder, since we hardly ever maintain any balances on our credit card account.

I applied for a secured Visa to rebuild my credit, but it was not reported to burreau after months of usage :-( Then I had to call in and beg your employees to update my secure card with burreas. Finally, they reported it. This should not be. People get secured cards to rebuild credit and they should report IMMEDIATELY. Also when I upgraded to the unsecured it took forward to release my funds. In fact, it is still not released from security and I have had the new unsecure card and used it for awhile now. :-( I am in real estate and I often suggest products for clients to improve credit before purchasing a home. But my experience with SCCU has be tedious, I should not have to call and ask people to report my credit to burreaus immediately (which by the way I had to pay for a copy of the 3 credit reports to learn that some one wasn't doing his job.) Also I should not have to wait so long for funds to be release once my card is converted from unsecure to secure.

The associate who helped me was very nice and efficient. He assisted me with getting approval for my platinum visa and increasing my credit line close to 5 p.m. towards the end of the week. He called me back after 5 p.m. to reconfirm the approval of this product. I truly appreciated his efforts.

I use the Visa card to pay a lot of my monthly expenses such as medication, insurance premiums, newspaper, etc. I do not have to write a check and I pay all of the charges to the Visa card each month. I transfer funds via the internet. It is another way to save money.

Offer a credit card that gives cash back, especially with the economy in such a slump.Also maybe a free checking account that gives free checks,money orders,and atm withdrawl at any atm.Alot of banks are doing it,so why not the credit union's?

I was told I would receive my new platinum card in two to three working days. It was two week before I received it. Our Gold account was closed and the balance transfered to the platinum, but no credit card. Other than what i stated above. I remain a loyal SCCU customer, and would not bank anywhere else.

By the time I applied for the credit card, within two days I received a call from a very friendly representative of SCCU telling me I was approved, she explained the terms and conditions, answered al my questions courteously and offered me choices of what card I would like and their benefits, ie: pink card where a percentage of the purchases go to breast cancer research.

I will say that Greg is very good at what he does and seems very sincere in the way he handles his communication skills. That was a seller for me as well as a woman (I can't remember her name) who I spoke to before Greg about 7 months prior inquiring a refinance and she too was very well mannered, informative, and sincere. Those are major selling points for me and it looks like you all have your priorities straight with customer service and staff... So, positive feedback, keep it up, and thank you.

I was told that the Platinum Visa accumulates reward "dollars" faster than my previous Visa program. I would disagree - it's points based not dollar based. It takes longer to accumulate education dollars or loan dollars. I feel your CS reps were encouraged to convert members and I was tricked into doing so!

My husband was asked to PROVE his employment status when he has had direct deposit thru Health First for 9 years! What a sham!! Very disrespectful over the phone in the credit dept and totally ignorant at the branch. We refused and got the card anyway. We were treated like dogs.

I've called several times in the last few years to raise the limit on my SCCU Visa. I understand if you won't raise the limit, no problem. But if you tell me you'll call me back with an answer in a hour, then do it! I'm tired of having to chase someone down for the answer you told me you'd call me with.

I have had checking and savings with sccu for about 5 years now. I am attempting to re-establish credit and being able to go from secured to unsecured credit card is a good first step. I have always maintained about 5000+ in my accounts and always pay my credit card monthly. I hope to be able to further my relationship with SCCU as I am a good customer. I would be interested in a small car loan to further establish credit. I had a short period of financial difficulty 7 yrs ago and have strived to maintain a good account. I hope that SCCU will work with me.

IN the future, Iwould like to have a photo of myself on the cards to reduce unauthorized ude of my card. I have found two Sccu credit cards near atms. one called me to say how relieved she was; no call from the other, but none expected. Unfortunately others may not be as sensitive.

SCCU offered me the lowest rate to refinance my mortgage. I was so impressed with all of your services and your personnel that I transferred all my banking to SCCU. I have never had an unpleasant experience or encounter in all my dealings with you. I especially like your e-mail forum. I frequently submit questions and always get a prompt reply-usually by the end of business the same day. On the phone, I am never put on hold for long, which is unusual these days. In my opinion, you have a first class business, and I recomment it to everyone I know.

They screwed up my automatic payments that was supposed to work the same as with my gold card they upgraded me from. Took forever and many phone calls to get straightened out. You shut down my Visa cards without giving me a warning due to my information being compromised at your clearing house. You need to start using email to notify customers of problems such as finding out that my visa card information had been compromised weeks later through snail mail and you were sending new cards.

There was some charges (insurance) that automatically were applied which the person who converted my card over didn't mention. I had to get these removed later - it was an unwanted service and should have been called out, especially as this was a replacement for a card with SCCU and the representative knew the plan we already had.

I ran into a problem with the card when using it at a hotel. When the card was swiped at the hotel for approval it was denied, the hotel kept swiping the card which then held over $2000 in pending charges. when I was reviewing my checking/savings accounts on line, I saw the advertisement for the Visa platinum with it's low rates & benefits. I knew it was a good time to take 2 other higher interest rate cards and pay them off. It was easy to apply and I received a prompt call from a representative regarding how I could pay off the other cards. I went to my Orange City branch with my balance tranfer form and they faxed it to the main branch. Within days everything was taken care of. I always recommend Space Coast Credit Union.

when verifiying income, asking for something other than w2 forms, or pay check stubs. Because some people work as contract labor which means, that person doesn't file a w2 they file a 1099 and some smaller businesses use personal size business checks i.e. no stub. Other than this, i felt like sccu's customer service did a good job in helping me with my request.

I had a really great experience. I did it over the phone. I don't remember the gentleman's name but he was very nice. At the same time I also was having problems with my debit card because it got demagnetized and then my old SCCU credit card stopped working because they never issued me another card in the mail. I never carry cash I always use one of my cards, so I was a little stressed that I would not have either one of my cards. So, the young man said that he would be able to make my credit card also wrok as a debit card. He also promised that he would send out my information ASAP so that I would get my card in the mail soon. I thought it would be a while before I got it but it really was only 3-4 days, I can't remeber exactly, but it was fast!!! Thanks!!!

In order to keep the customer satisfied, I think it is important to keep the interest at a decent interest rate and do not increase it to an exorbitant rate once the introductory rate is over with. Keep it at a resonable amount. This way people can pay their debt off in a more timely manner.

I applied for an SCCU Visa card online,..around one in the morning. I received an uncommon "you've been approved, and your card will be there in two to three days" wakeup call at nine in the morning. That's fast.

We have used Space Coast Visa Credit card for years. There have been times when we have needed to increase our limit and times we have wanted it lowered.
