Attention: Eastern Financial Members with a HELOC Platinum Visa® Credit Card

After the upcoming systems conversion is completed on Monday, May 3, 2010, there will be changes to how and where you will be able to access information about your HELOC Visa® credit card transactions and balances, including limitations regarding the ability of credit union employees to view loan and card information on your behalf.

The good news is that within a few months after conversion, your HELOC information will be included with your other account information - no more separate statements or limited information in Online Banking! You will receive further communications prior to any additional changes that take place.

This chart outlines what is changing, and what will remain the same, beginning on May 3, 2010:

  • Online Bill Payer: You may set up your HELOC Visa credit card as a payee with SCCU's Bill Payer service to make a payment. Set up the payee using the information below, and enter the account number shown on your card statement in the "Payee Account Number" field:

  • Phone: Phone payments are not available.
Credit Union Employee Ability to View Your Account Yes
  • Space Coast Credit Union Branch personnel will not be able to view your account on your behalf after the systems conversion is completed on May 3, 2010.
  • If you have any questions related to payments or balances, you may log on to your HELOC credit card account using the link available on the SCCU HELOC page after May 3, 2010, or you may call our Card Holder Services partner at 800-449-7728.
CALL-24 Bank by Phone Access Yes
  • No information about your HELOC card account will be available on CALL-24 Bank by Phone.
  • CALL-24 Bank by Phone payments (transfers) will not be available after systems conversion.
Viewing Your Transactions and/or Current Balance Online Yes
  • You will not be able to view your account online through Space Coast Credit Union Online Banking. However, you may view your account using the link provided on the SCCU HELOC page.
    • If you have never logged in to our Card Holder Services partner site before, follow the directions to create a user account using your HELOC credit card number.
    • If you have previously used our Card Holder Services partner site, you will continue to use the login information you currently use to access this account.
  • You may also call our Card Holder Services partner at 800-449-7728 for information by phone.
Managing Your Account Online Yes You will no longer be able to transfer funds from your other Space Coast Credit Union accounts to make a payment on your HELOC credit card loan. Please see the "Payments" section above for instructions on making payments using our free Online Bill Payer service.
