Concerned About Your Sensitive Member Information? SCCU Online Services are Safe and Secure.

Member information and security are very important to us at SCCU.
Due to the April 7, 2014 disclosure of a critical vulnerability in OpenSSL's handling of SSL connections (also known as "Heartbleed"), Space Coast Credit Union immediately conducted a comprehensive review of our systems. As part of this security review, we have confirmed that all SCCU Online Services, including SCCU.com, SCCU Online Banking, and SCCU Mobile Banking are safe and secure.
While your member information using our SCCU Online Services is secure, we encourage members to take the following steps to further protect your information:
If you use your SCCU Online Banking password for other non-SCCU sites/services: Because other sites may not be secure like SCCU's Online Services, the use of your Online Banking password on these non-SCCU sites may mean that your password could be stolen. If you use your SCCU Online Banking password as a password on other sites, we recommend you change your password within SCCU Online Banking immediately as a precaution.
If you use other non-SCCU sites/services that store your sensitive information: We recommend members take additional steps to ensure your information security by contacting sites that store your sensitive information to ensure they are not subject to this vulnerability.
