How to Make Your SCCU Loan Payment

Paying your SCCU loan is simple and hassle-free! We offer several convenient ways for you to make your payment, so you can choose the method that fits your lifestyle best. Whether you prefer managing things online, over the phone, or in person, we’ve got you covered. Certain payment methods may incur fees. Please review SCCU’s fee schedule for details.

Pay Online or With Our Mobile App

Our digital banking tools make it easy to manage your loan payments anytime, anywhere. You can set up one-time or recurring payments in just a few clicks.

• To pay with an SCCU account:
  • Log into Online Banking or the SCCU Mobile app.
  • Select your loan account and click "Make Payment" at the top.
  • Transfer money directly from another SCCU account to your loan account.
• To pay with a non-SCCU account:
  • Log into Online Banking or the SCCU Mobile app.
  • Click "Transfers" (it’s the top button on desktop and the bottom button on the app).
  • Select "External Loan Payments" to make a payment using a debit card or an account from another financial institution.

For payments made through Online and Mobile banking, you are protected under Regulation E, which provides certain rights for resolving errors. If you believe there has been an error with your payment, please contact us at 800-447-7228 immediately.

For secure and convenient one-time payments, add your SCCU auto or home loans to your Apple Wallet® or Google Wallet™. It’s a fast and easy way to pay on the go. Avoid sharing personal information when using mobile wallets and always secure your device with a passcode or biometric authentication.

• Payment methods: Use your SCCU account, write a check, or provide cash.
• Other options: Request a cash advance from a credit card or a non-SCCU debit card to make a loan payment. Please note that a fee may apply for this service.

Important Payment Information

• Pay Down Your Loan Faster: Any amount you pay over your required monthly payment is automatically applied to your loan’s principal balance. Extra payments reduce principal and may shorten your loan term. Interest savings vary based on your loan balance and payment amount.
• No Pre-Payment Penalties: We don’t charge fees for paying off your loan early. Feel free to pay extra whenever you like!
• No Coupon Books: We do not use coupon books for loan repayment.
